What does your current role involve?
Since 2023, I have managed Gaming & Digital Activations for FIFA, sitting at the intersection of Business Development, Digital Marketing and Digital Platforms, at a moment of real change for football gaming. At its broadest, the role is about making sure FIFA's presence in gaming and interactive media is guided by a strategy in its own right - one built on rigorous data, strong publisher partnerships, and a real understanding of how football culture translates into interactive spaces. Day to day, that means identifying and managing FIFA's platform partnerships and licensed titles; building the BI and analytics infrastructure that lets the organisation make evidence-led calls and surface additional commercial opportunities for the wider business; and licensing FIFA's IP while making sure Member Associations, clubs, sponsors and players are represented properly and fairly wherever football shows up in a game.
Which aspects of the FIFA Master course have helped you most in your career?
The FIFA Master crucially built pathways into the industry, facilitating interactions with leaders of sport across a variety of disciplines, and providing key insights into how these organisations really function. That blend provided a great platform to navigate the complex environments in which sport operates.
What advice would you give to future students?
