Students from the UDLA/FEF/FIFA/CIES International Programme go behind the scenes at the 2025 Copa América Femenina

Students from the FIFA/CIES International Programme in Sports Management, organised by the Universidad de Las Américas in cooperation with the Federación Ecuatoriana de Fútbol in Ecuador, had the opportunity to visit one of the venues for CONMEBOL's 2025 Copa América Femenina. This allowed them to compare what they had learnt during the event management module with the practical realities of a large-scale competition.

Participants also discovered the key areas of organisation and the responsibilities that managers must assume in the field. In addition, the visit gave them the opportunity to meet former students from the Programme who are now playing an active role in the organisation of this major sporting event.

We commend the UDLA's initiative and are confident that it has enabled the current students to familiarise themselves with some of the many facets of an international competition.
