Colombia: Launch of the 5th edition of the FIFA/CIES International Programme

Around thirty students have begun the 5th edition of the FIFA/CIES International Programme in Sports Management, organised in Colombia by the Universidad Sergio Arboleda (USA), with the support of the Federación Colombiana de Fútbol (FCF). They will attend classes during face-to-face sessions held on the USA campus and online sessions coordinated by the FCF.

During the opening ceremony, Eduardo Guacaneme, Dean of the ‘Prime Business School’, and Julián Montaña, Dean of the Escuela de Artes y Creación and head of the university’s development projects, highlighted the importance of the Programme for training sports managers in Colombia. They also encouraged the new students to make the most of their interactions with fellow participants, as well as with the lecturers and international experts invited by CIES during their studies.
