New CIES Coordinator in Poland

We are pleased to announce that Karol Tatar has been appointed as the CIES Local Coordinator in Poland.

Karol has been involved in the sports industry for over thirteen years, initially at PGE National Stadium where he was responsible for corporate partners' commercial exposure and then later operational activities during international mass events, negotiations for the stadium's naming rights sponsorship, and the related rebranding process of the facility.

In addition, for over seven years he has worked for the Polish Football Association (PZPN), where he is responsible for marketing projects and the development and commercialisation of brands within the PZPN family. He currently holds the position of Head of Marketing and Sponsorship at the Federation, as well as being a member of the UEFA Marketing Advisory Committee.

A graduate from the FIFA/CIES International Programme, he holds a degree in Business Psychology for Managers from Kozminski University. In addition, he has completed the UEFA Certificate in Football Management and the UEFA Diploma in Football Leadership and Management, organised in cooperation with the University of Lausanne.

 Commenting on the appointment to his new position, Karol said, ‘It is a great honour for me to join CIES as the Local Coordinator. This new activity represents a significant responsibility that I will take on with enthusiasm. Together with the team at Kozminski University, we aim to create and deliver the best possible programme here in Poland, and for the good of sport in our country.’
