At the end of the official ceremony, Garvin Warwick, a 2022 graduate and CEO and founder of Next Level Performance, took the floor to share his experience as a former student.

After various photo sessions, participants were able to enjoy the charms of the UWI campus during a cocktail reception accompanied by live music.

The following day, the UWI officially welcomed the students of the new edition of the Diploma during a public lecture by Ricardo Trade on “Mapping Trends in Sports”.

For more than fifteen years, the UWI/FIFA/CIES Post Graduate Diploma has brought together more than two-hundred students from a variety of sporting backgrounds: athletes, coaches, referees, fitness instructors, managers, physiotherapists, lawyers and event managers. They come from a wide range of sports disciplines, including football, cricket, netball, basketball, futsal, beach soccer, cycling, athletics and rugby, as well as swimming, water polo, sailing and even Thai boxing.

We wish our new graduates every success and welcome the new class, who will discover the different aspects of sports management under the guidance of the excellent team in Trinidad and Tobago.
