Table ronde: «Football et littérature» (held in French)
CIES, in collaboration with the Centre Dürrenmatt Neuchâtel (CDN), co-organised a round table titled “Football and Literature” on 8 November 2025 at the CDN.

The discussion explored how football inspires writers and the metaphors of society and the human condition hidden within this universal sport. For many authors, including Friedrich Dürrenmatt, football is far more than a game—evoking childhood nostalgia and offering a rich field for literary exploration.
