What does your current role involve?
In my current role at LIV Golf, I support the global sponsorship team in securing new commercial partnerships for the LIV Golf League and each of its fourteen annual events.
I collaborate closely with the business development, partnership management and strategic planning teams to drive our revenue objectives. My responsibilities include conducting in-depth category research to identify and prioritize potential partner opportunities, developing comprehensive go-to-market strategies, and assisting in the valuation of commercial rights packages.
Additionally, I contribute to the design and evolution of our partnership programme, ensuring it is aligned with the broader business strategy and delivers maximum value for both LIV Golf and its partners.
How has the FIFA Master helped you in your career?
The FIFA Master programme was instrumental in facilitating my transition from the technology sector into the sports industry. Through its comprehensive curriculum, I gained the knowledge, insights and confidence needed to successfully leverage my transferable skills to address the unique challenges facing the global sports landscape.
One of the most distinctive elements of the programme is its international dimension, which exposed me to a wide range of cultural, business and regulatory perspectives. The experience of studying on the FIFA Master significantly enhanced my ability to approach problem-solving with a more holistic, global mindset and to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders across different markets.
Additionally, the FIFA Master provided unparalleled access to a network of accomplished professionals and alumni within the sports industry, many of whom have become valuable connections and collaborators, enriching both my professional and personal development.
What advice would you give to future students?
Embrace every moment of the FIFA Master experience, both inside and outside the classroom. The programme is as much about learning from your peers and alumni as it is about academic development.
Your classmates will come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives that can challenge your thinking and broaden your worldview. Make the most of these interactions and build lasting connections. Finally, remember that we are all ambassadors of the programme — its continued success and evolution rely on each of us contributing to and upholding its legacy.
